Photos From the First Historicon, 1984

So, I was going through some old slides that were stored away and forgotten in a closet in my parents' house. I discovered several that I had taken at the first Historicon (and a couple of me that my parents had taken.) So sit yourself back in the ol' time machine and lets head back to 1984 and a enjoy some good old-fashioned "I love the 80's" wargaming.

A very young me, in orange shirt, playing in one of Larry Brom's TSATF games. That's Larry in the glasses at the end of the table. I remember being very thrilled to be in a game being run by a real rules author.:-)
Another view of the same game.
And yet another, with me again in my orange shirt.

  2. These are fantastic. I was in Cincinnati then and didn't come. We had a decent convention there too. All long gone now. Great stuff. I think I recognize some of those people from this year!

  3. I'm going to forward this link to Larry Brom and his daughters. I'm sure they will get a kick out of the photos.
