And I'm adding more

10mm War of the Roses Project
At the end of last year I started a 10mm War of the Roses project so I would have a historical set of armies to run games with our soon-to-be-released rules for mass fantasy, medieval and ancient combat, entitled; "Bear Yourselves Valiantly". I thought I would take this opportunity to post some example pictures of a few of the units I've completed so far.
Very nice. I always shy away from 6 and 10mm because I think it might be too small, but then I see work like this and am surprised by how much detail these figures actually have.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go place an order with Pendraken...
Thanks! I don't think you'll make a mistake with trying 10mm, especially Pendraken. I actually find 10's really easy to paint. A basic coat of paint and an ink wash does wonders to bring out the detail.
I've been a gamer since my high school days in the 70's. I'm married to Jennifer, and reside in Maryland. I am co-author, along with Buck Surdu, of "GASLIGHT" and several of its supplements, and "Look, Sarge, No Charts: WWII", and "LSNC: ACW". I also wrote the "Thunder & Plunder"; half of our Pirate rules, "Blood & Swash"
I am a founding member of the HAWKs wargames club.
