I found a great little plaster paint-it-yourself castle last week in the art and craft aisle at the local Dollar Tree. I thought it would make a great building for my 10mm fantasy games. I had a chance to paint it up over the weekend, and am pleased with the results.
While not the most detailed piece of terrain, it was well worth the price.

Great little castle and nicely painted. The Dollar store in its various configurations is my go to place for terrain.
ReplyDeleteHowdy,
ReplyDeleteAnother place for terrain is Michaels. In their "wood crafts" section they have birdhouses which are sometimes useful, as well as non-bird houses of about the same size which are very useful: a nice 15/20mm-scale castle, a number of log cabins, Victorian-era row houses, etc. They generally cost about $5, even less if you use a 40%-off coupon which they run every week in their Sunday ad and on-line.

P.S. Thanks for the shout-out on the ACW figures!
